Brief Bio
Yong Deng received his B.S. degree in Precision Instrument from Sichuan University (1988), M.S.degree, in Mechanical Design Manufacturing and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (1997), and Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2005). Postdoctoral training (2005~2007) in Optical scattering theory and Biomedical Spectroscopy and diffuse Optical tomography was at Britton Chance Center for Biomedical Photonics. In December 2007, she was offered an associate professor position in the Department of Optical Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Research Areas
The development and applications of multiple modalities imaging, including the diffuse optical tomography, fluorescence molecular tomography & Micro-CT (DOT/FMT/Micro-CT).
