Xu Fuqiang
Male, doctor’s degree, researcher, got bachelor’s degree of Lanzhou
University in 1983. Got double doctorates in Chemistry and physiology
from University of Kentucky separately from 1994 and 1998; 1998-2001, a
postdoctoral fellow of School of medicine, Yale University; 2002-2007,
associate research fellow of nuclear magnetic resonance research center,
Yale University; from 2007.3 up to present, researcher of Wuhan
Institute of Physics and Mathematics, doubling as postdoctoral
supervisor and guest researcher of nuclear magnetic resonance research
center, Yale University. It mainly uses cerebral function imaging of
magnetic resonance, molecular biology and biochemistry and animal
behavior to study neurobiology and neurosciences of basic olfactory
system, and their relations to serious illness. He had published over 20
works on international academic journal, and IF > 7.5 quoted by
others for nearly 100 times. He was selected in “Hundred Talents
Program” of CAS in 2007, and won “National Science Fund for
Distinguished Young Scholars”.
